Welcome to Our First Annual Report

The opening of the Patient Ombudsman’s office in July 2016 was an exciting opportunity to collaborate with health sector organizations and to represent a conduit for the patient voice to inspire positive changes that work for everyone.

One of the purposes of the Patient Ombudsman’s this report was to begin to bring forward the themes that emerged from the experiences shared by patients and caregivers and highlights the insights collected in the office’s first full year of operations.

The work of building the Patient Ombudsman’s office has just begun and we are working committedly every day to fulfilling our promise to the people who fearlessly come forward to share a patient experience or perspective with us – our job is to make every experience matter.Link to Annual Report 2016/17
